Software does the repetition. A CPA does the judgement.

You are not buying technology from me. You are buying books you can trust. The automation is how I keep that fast and affordable rather than something you have to think about.

What the software handles

None of this requires a person, and none of it involves a decision about your business.

Pulling transactions from your bank and credit cards every day

Reading receipts and bills and matching them to the right transaction

Coding entries that look like ones already approved in your file

Chasing missing documents and pending approvals so the close does not stall

Watching for duplicates, missing GST, and amounts that break the usual pattern

Assembling the monthly report pack from the accounting system, or from Excel if that is where your reporting lives

What I do myself

Everything below is a judgement call, which means it stays with a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Review before anything is final

Nothing reaches your financial statements without me looking at it. Automation proposes, I decide.

The calls that cost money if wrong

Capital or expense, GST treatment, contractor or employee, when revenue is earned. These are judgement, not pattern matching.

Reconciliations signed off

Every account tied to the statement by a person who understands what a stale item means.

The note that explains what changed

Margin, cash, and the one or two things worth your attention this month, written in plain language.

Talking to you and your accountant

Questions get a human answer within one business day, not a ticket.

Where your data sits

Documents stay in controlled cloud storage tied to your file. I will walk you through exactly what touches what before we start.

Automation without review is just a faster way to be wrong. Both halves matter.

Kaleem Siddiqui, CPA

Your month, start to finish

Documents arrive on their own

Bank feeds run daily and receipts come in by photo or forwarded email. Nobody has to remember to send a folder at month end.

The close runs on a checklist

Coding, reconciliations, accruals, and GST worked through in the same order every month, with exceptions flagged for me rather than buried.

You get the pack and a note

Statements, a dashboard, and a short read on what changed. Then a call whenever you want to go through it.

Questions about how this works

Is a machine doing my bookkeeping?

No. Software does the sorting and the chasing, which is the part that is repetitive and error prone by hand. Every number that reaches your statements has been reviewed by me.

Where does my information go?

Into your accounting system and controlled cloud storage tied to your file. Client records do not move through personal email or messaging apps, and I will show you the setup before you commit.

What if the automation gets something wrong?

That is what the review is for. Mistakes get caught before the statements go out, and the rule that caused it gets fixed so it does not repeat.

Do I need to change any software?

No. Almost all of this runs around the system you already use, usually QuickBooks Online. If you are on spreadsheets and want to stay there, the automation is built into Excel instead. If you are on nothing at all, I set you up once, properly.

Ask me how your file would be handled

Twenty minutes, no charge. I will walk you through what gets automated, what I review, and where your documents live.
